Deep in the heart of the Short North Arts District in Columbus, Ohio, a
small studio reflects the essence of one man. Once, 7 Buttles Ave was
just a place to be, to experiment, to paint, to enjoy life; it evolved
into much more.
Paul Robinett, with a heart of abandon called reckless by
some, turned this small space into an incubator for his paintings,
candle making, photography and art. This special space evolved into
what we know today as the Paul Robinett Aromatherapy Candle Shop.
Even though Paul continues to amass skills and passions
for new things every day, his candles stand strong as a mainstay for
thousands of people. And, as always, every single candle is
hand-poured, one at a time. Each wick is hand-centered in the bottom of
every jar to ensure an even burn, one at a time. All of the fragranced
oils are measured and poured into each candle, one at a time. And of
course, every candle is whispered a promise, sealed with vow and
welcomed into the world, one at a time.
